What is Firefox and why is it better?

Firefox is a browser used for surfing the web. It is an open source program meaning that anybody can look at the code. Therefor many geeks have been pouring over the code and bragging to their geek friends in chat rooms, on their blogs and at star trek conventions, ultimately leading to a highly tested, smooth running standardized browser that has become the most widely used browser on the planet. It is so much better then ie (internet explorer), that you will eventually grow to despise ie as much as I do. some of the greatest features are the abilities to resize pictures easily and a great search toolbar built right into the corner. You're gonna love it.

After dowloading Firefox, I would recommend making it your default web browser. Please use firfaox to navigate around my website.

Want to see some really cool programming? The following web-page was designed to look one way in internet explorer and another way in Firefox. The Box found in the internet explorer design is meant to represent the limited in the box type of design that results from conforming to the restrictions found in ie.

Compare the following webpage in both Firefox and Internet Explorer to see an example of really cool programming that capitalizes on the differences between the way ie and firefox interpret cascading style sheets.

copy the address view it in both ie and firefox to see two seemingly different web pages.
